Cathedral of St John the Divine

Cathedral of St John the Divine

Please Note

A critic friend cautioned me saying, "For many in the art world, even a vague mention of religion or religious themes sounds like sheer dogma. So it has to be understood that you are speaking as an artist . . . a painter who leaves things open rather than a true believer who is trying to impose the one True belief . . . " C.R.

These are notes towards a series of paintings based on the Stations, which will be shown next March April at the Cathedral of St John the Divine in NYC.
